      Preparation

      Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from grease, dirt, salts, all loose material and surface contamination. Use recommended Tikkurila products for mould removal and cleaning. Ensure that surfaces to be painted are bonded to the substrates. Re-render or repair all areas of failure, cracks, holes, etc., with either a suitable Tikkurila repair mortar or cement mortar. (Use only recommended concrete repair products for repairing concrete.) Polished or glassy concrete surfaces should be mechanically abraded. Glossy and gloss painted surfaces should be thoroughly flatted down. Note: The relative humidity of concrete and cement-rich substrates should be less than 90% prior to priming and painting.

      Application

      Methods: brush, roller or spray application. Polyester and nylon paint brushes are best suited for the application of Finngard Opaque. For airless spray use a : 0.018” – 0.023” spray tip. Thinning: if necessary for brush and roller application thin by up to 5% with water and for spray application by up to 10% with water.

      We have a range of delivery options to ensure you receive your DCO order when you need it. Our super quick standard delivery option delivers within two working days but can often arrive sooner! We use DPD to ship items from our warehouse so you will be kept up to date with delivery time scales and you can also leave safe place requests if you won't be available for the delivery.

      Standard Delivery £5.95 (Free on orders over £60) Arrives in approximately 2 working days when ordered before 2pm (excludes bank holidays). Estimated date provided at checkout.
      Next Day Delivery (delivers between 8am-8pm) £7.99 (Free on orders over £100) Available on all orders placed before 2pm. Orders placed after 2pm on a Thursday will have a delivery date of the following Monday. Orders placed after 2pm Friday will be processed Monday and will have a delivery date of Tuesday.
      Next Day Before 12 £12.99 Available on orders placed before 2pm. Orders placed after 2pm on a Thursday will have a delivery date of the following Monday. Orders placed after 2pm Friday will be processed Monday and will have a delivery date of Tuesday.

      Wallpaper Samples £0.99 Select 'Sample delivery' at checkout. Our team will ship orders same day for orders before 2pm, and they are dispatched on a 2 day delivery service. Please note tracking is not available on sample delivery service.

      If any part of your order is temporarily out of stock and dispatch is anticipated to be delayed at all, we will contact you by e-mail to notify you of the new anticipated delivery date. If possible we will split your order so you receive goods in stock in a timely manner. Larger orders may be separated into multiple consignments by DPD but these will all be delivered by your estimated delivery date.
