      Preparation

      Ensure surface to be painted is sound, clean, dry and free from grease. Treat any mould or lichen with Sterilisation Wash as directed. Truguard Smooth Masonry can be applied directly over bare and previously painted surfaces provided these are clean, sound and firm.
      Chalky, underbound surfaces should be scraped, dry brushed and then given a coat of Truguard Stabilising Masonry Primer. Remove any limewash or distemper completely. Wear a suitable face mask if creating dust. Before applying Truguard Stabilising Masonry Primer to the whole surface, first carry out a test application to a small area.
      If this dries to a glossy film, thin with one part of White Spirit to two parts of Truguard Stabilising Masonry Primer and then test again in another small area. It is important to ensure that a non-glossy, dried, sealed surface is produced.

      Application

      Stir well before use. Do not thin, except for absorbent surfaces, when a small quantity of clean water may be added. Apply two full coats, allowing 4-6 hours between coats under normal drying conditions.
      Do not apply when air or surface temperatures are below 10?C, or when rain is imminent.
      Suitable for application by brush, roller, conventional and airless spray

      We have a range of delivery options to ensure you receive your DCO order when you need it. Our super quick standard delivery option delivers within two working days but can often arrive sooner! We use DPD to ship items from our warehouse so you will be kept up to date with delivery time scales and you can also leave safe place requests if you won't be available for the delivery.

      Next Day Delivery (delivers between 8am-8pm) £7.99 (Free on orders over £100) Available on all orders placed before 2pm. Orders placed after 2pm on a Thursday will have a delivery date of the following Monday. Orders placed after 2pm Friday will be processed Monday and will have a delivery date of Tuesday.
      Next Day Before 12 £12.99 Available on orders placed before 2pm. Orders placed after 2pm on a Thursday will have a delivery date of the following Monday. Orders placed after 2pm Friday will be processed Monday and will have a delivery date of Tuesday.

      Wallpaper Samples £0.99 Select 'Sample delivery' at checkout. Our team will ship orders same day for orders before 2pm, and they are dispatched on a 2 day delivery service. Please note tracking is not available on sample delivery service.

      If any part of your order is temporarily out of stock and dispatch is anticipated to be delayed at all, we will contact you by e-mail to notify you of the new anticipated delivery date. If possible we will split your order so you receive goods in stock in a timely manner. Larger orders may be separated into multiple consignments by DPD but these will all be delivered by your estimated delivery date.
